　　人真是充满矛盾啊！ 毫无疑问，幽默是惟一帮助我们摆脱矛盾的办法，要是没有它，我们就会死于烦恼。
　　What a bundle of contradictions is a man！ Surety， humour is the saving grace of us， for without it we should die of vexation.

　　With me， nothing illustrates the contrariness of things better than the matter of sleep.

Andrew is a doctor, like Anne, bu the works at a hospital in Canterbury,which is home of the world famous Cathedral.It takes him about an hour to get to work. Anne has a sister and a brother.Andrew has a brother, but he doesn’t have a sister. So Chris, Jon and Katie have two uncles and one aunt. Anne and Andrew’s brothers and sister live indifferent parts of the country. Anne’s parents live in England,but not near Anne and Andrew. Andrew’s parents live in France.
