颈椎病不难治疗，关键是方法要找对反复牵引和不当的按摩会适得其反加重病情。颈椎病药物没有特别好的疗效的。一般采用消炎镇痛。治标不治本的。可以用反射区疗法治疗，效果不错。对颈椎引起的手麻，头晕等症状见效快。另外设计制作合理的枕头对预防和治疗颈椎病有一定的辅助作用。传统的枕头是中间高，四周低，枕上去刚好会把颈椎处于拉直状态，破坏了颈椎的生理曲线。会引起颈椎增生或加重增生。自己制作一个直径约8公分的圆形枕头，填充谷类，以稍微感觉硬为好。和自己的脖子到肩头的距离基本相等的直径为好。睡觉时放在脖子处，不是传统的枕头放在后脑勺部位。 平时多做仰视转动头部，有助于缓解减轻病症。
