所幸，上面提到三种分化良好的甲状腺癌占全部甲状腺癌的 90% 以上，而恶性程度高的未分化癌只占 5%
总体而言，甲状腺癌是目前治愈率最高的恶性肿瘤。
甲状腺癌如果已经发展到了晚期的话，患者可以到正规医院进行综合治疗，可以延长患者的生存周期。配合医生的治疗，提高晚期甲状腺癌患者的自身免疫系统能力，控制好病情的发展走向，改善体内多病的现状、减轻患者的疼痛，促进食欲。
