股骨头多因较强的间接暴力所致，可以单独发生，但更多的是合并于。可合并股骨头上方的骨折；，可并发股骨头内下方的骨折或头上部的骨折，有时也可见到股骨头粉碎骨折。
间接暴力所致。股骨头患者患侧髋部肿胀、疼痛剧烈，患髋因疼痛功能严重受限。该多有髋关节损伤，因此可出现的体征，下肢屈曲，内收，外旋畸形，弹性固定，肢体短缩或出现的体征。正侧位X线片，可显示；CT及三维图像重建，能明确片的移位情况。外伤暴力大且伴典型的受伤姿势有助于诊断。对所有的患者均应考虑到合并股骨头的可能，髋关节正位片和CT及CT三维重建有助于明确诊断。1.非手术治疗
无错位型骨折的治疗：一般采用患肢牵引4～6周的传统疗法。因早期有错位的可能，因而近来趋于早期内固定疗法。
2.手术治疗
人工股骨头置换术，主要适用于股骨头骨折不愈合或股骨头者。其优点是可早期使用患肢，不存在骨折不愈合的问题；其缺点是并发症多，如感染、松动、下沉或穿入骨盆等。而且时间越长，并发症越多，一般不适于青壮年患者。
往往和股骨头骨折同时存在，在治疗时还要注意有无髋臼骨折，需要一并处理。

骨折的治疗一般就是复位固定，骨折愈合一般要6-8个月才能达到原来的骨强度，所以骨折后一般建议病人3个月内禁止任何形式运动，可以正常生活活动，伤后3-6个月内可以适当活动（跑步、游泳），减少剧烈运动，6个月后才可进行对抗性、高强度剧烈运动。
